Kia ora TRCP Whānau,
With yesterday afternoon’s announcement that we will be dropping to Level 2 from midnight today, we are super excited to welcome you all back at school on Thursday, 9 September 2021🤗❗
The Prime Minister has yesterday afternoon announced that children are able to return to school from this Thursday. She has asked schools to take the next 48 hours to be ready and to setup protocols for this.
HOW WILL WE KEEP YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN SAFE?
We want to point out a few safety procedures and especially make you aware that drop off and pick up times can be a bit longer than usual because of our current procedures – please allow time for this.
As per all COVID 19 precautions, we ask anyone who is unwell not to come to the preschool premises.
Please practice social distancing of 1 metre between adults where possible in centre and before entering the gate please sanitize both your and your child's hands. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance gate and through out the centre.
Drop Off and Pick Up times:
As required: Contact tracing will be carried out.
A register will be kept by the designated sign in area or you can scan the QR code that is also available to make it quick and easy.
You will need to fill out the register or scan the QR code with both drop off and pick up times.📋
Ps: remember you still need to sign your little one in and out for the day.😉
As per our normal procedure we intend to monitor children’s temperature. If a fever is suspected you will be contacted immediately.
Parent/caregivers and staff are responsible for monitoring their own health and not coming to the centre if they feel at all unwell. Children who display any symptoms must be kept at home, as per normal procedure.
Isolating Sick Children and Adults:
If an adult or child becomes sick at the centre, they shall be isolated and appropriate people contacted per our normal procedure for any sickness. The isolation area is the Centre Manager’s office or sleep room if no other children require the sleep room.
Welcome back and see you on Thursday!
